Set in 2040, Jela is the caregiver, of his wife Abagail who is dying of cancer. Jela uses AI and VR headsets as a way to cope with the loss of his wife before she has even passed. He copes through her final days through AI and VR until her eventual death. Jela learns that he should have appreciated the time he had with his wife, and not been disillusioned by the fake reality he created with AI.
